A revista japonesa Famitsu recentemente realizou uma pesquisa entre seus leitores, para elegerem o melhor jogo de ação e aventura de todos os tempos. O resultado saiu e The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ficou em terceiro lugar.
Os outros dois jogos que o desbancou foram Shenmue, em segundo lugar e Ryu Ga Gotoko Zero: Chikai no Basho (Yakuza 0), em primeiro. Mas ele não ficou sozinho, outros dois jogos da série apareceram no Top 20:
